E-mail and SMS Gadget Peek is a special all-inclusive offerings. Although the offer is only for one day, Amol Sarva, CEO of Peek, the company, taking into account the role fully on the subscription fees for the device to be made available at a time and costs for users in advance.
“We were very impressed by the demand today. The numbers are pretty good,” says Sarva. “My mind is completely blown, and we are absolutely ready to consider giving up on subscription fees.”
It could be a smart step for the company, as consumers tend to dislike the current monthly fees, particularly in a difficult economy.
Peek started in September as a device for people who do not want a smartphone full of features, but just want to check, and text e-mail friends.
The company is looking to expand its retail access and add new features, says Sarva. “We are excited about experimenting,” he says.
