Panasonic plans to launch new Micro Four Thirds camera
The Panasonic Asia seminar in Singapore today, the Japanese electronics manufacturer revealed that the initiation of a new G-Series Micro Four Thirds camera later this year. Although no further details have been shared, it is likely the company will at least display a prototype at the Photo Marketing Association (PMA) trade show in Las Vegas next month. We know soon enough.
Panasonic first G-Series delivers the G1 (as in picture), was launched in August last year. It is the world’s first shooter to use the new Micro Four Thirds platform and has since received rave reviews for his small camera body and image quality. The Micro Four Thirds System is the latest digital imaging format led by Panasonic and Olympus, which on the older Four Thirds System. Cameras based on the Micro Four Thirds System are not as DSLR cameras, but rather as “interchangeable lens camera systems.
