Libre eBook reader from iRiver Japan
The debut of Kindle 2 and the subsequent release of the Kindle software for the iPhone proves that the world is finally ready for the integration of the eBook Reader. Yet, most book-lovers in Asia are not yet on the Kindle, so iRiver Japan plans to get to the market with their own Libre eBook Reader.
The stylish device offers Spartan PDF support, a joystick controller, audio output and an SD data card slot. Pricing and release date have not yet been revealed, but according iRiver’s incredibly rapid product cycles, we will probably be a more advanced version of the company relatively quickly.
