Pioneer today launched a new iPhone and iPod speaker-dock with a unique design more than the norm. The Kodo XW-NAW1 are built thick intrusive and less than 3.3 inches thin enough to mount on a wall. It is nevertheless 30W stereo audio and one component video output for TVs.
The NAW1 uses touch-sensitive buttons for controlling and is a stand for those who prefer to rest on the table. Pioneer delivers the dock first to the United Kingdom, where it costs 199 ($ 307) and tax. A U.S. launch is likely, as most of the country have reached Pioneer Docks, but the company does not have any commitment to all international versions.
