Posted by admin on Feb 16, 2010 in LG, News, TV

The world’s largest production site OLED TV will be conducted in the United States to show later this year, so the LG reps at the ISE-2010 LG Electronics. LG looks for mid-2010 availability. How much can you expect to pay for it? How about $ 2,500? Hope you have some money in the bank.

Apparently the 15-inch EL9500 will follow with 19 and 20-inch OLEDs. There’s even a 40-inch version that none of us can afford to come in 2012. Just as the Mayans predicted.

This thing costs more than my huge HDTV.

Posted by admin on Sep 1, 2009 in LG, News, TV

LG 15-inch OLED TV

LG is a 15-inch OLED TV that is showing remarkable both in its brightness and design.
The TV is expected to show at the IFA 2009 in Berlin electric consumers will be introduced in September and launched at the end of the year to life, “says the website, OLED Display.net.

LG has not disclosed any pricing for these beauties, but it’s probably not that cheap.

The new LG OLED display looks like a picture frame with its controls at ports and hidden behind the screen. The screen can be wall-mounted and tilted for the best viewing angle.

OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode)-based displays are starting in a big way with companies like Samsung and Nokia to offer phones with small OLED displays. The displays are attractive to consumers because they are extremely vibrant colors and offer high-clarity. So far, however, the high cost of these screens has led to the technology was, however, is not commonly used in consumer products.

The new LG 15-inch OLED TV could be a sign that these ads can now be prepared to take the place of LCD and plasma TVs to take in HD. With mass production and high sales volume, prices could come down for this TV quickly in the coming years. LG is reportedly working on a 40-inch OLED TV.

LG HDTV is sexiest and thinnest HDTV you can buy

Posted by admin on Jan 6, 2009 in LG, News, TV

thinnestlcd.jpg We have some thin LCD HDTV prototypes, but this soon-to-ship LG LH9500 is ridiculous. Not only is the 55-inch LED-backlit beauty only 24.8mm thin – plug in a USB hard drive, and it can display the pirate fave DivX video files in all their HD glory.

A TV that needs an unlikely thin outer box to make it go, and you can wirelessly stream HD. Neat trick. And whoa, has the look sexy or what? Prices? No words yet. We get a magnifying glass at 2009, until mid-next week.
