Panasonic Introduces a New Line-up of 2TB Blu-ray DVR

Panasonic just announced a new series of Diga DVR (Digital Video Recorder), which in September.

Available in six models, the new console with a Blu-ray recorder and a VHS player (for the DMR-BR670V) with a choice of 320 GB/500 GB/1 TB/2 TB of disk (a world first ). These new VCRs are equipped with the latest generation of the UniPhier system LSI integrated that the new AV data compression/decompression (codec) technology.

As with the high-end model, the DMR-BW970 and the successor of the DMR-BW930, you should be able to 320hrs of video in MPEG-4 AVC H.264 @ 12.9Mbps. This DVR also supporst Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby True HD, DTS HD, available on BD-RE/BD-R/DVD-RAM/DVD-R/DVD-R DL/DVD-RW, and of course with HDMI Output, SDHC Card Slot, Viera Link and the DLNA.

Panasonic OLED 40-inch TV coming next year

Think Sony XEL-1 OLED TV was sWISH? You just wait until next year, when he says, is a Panasonic 40-inch OLED TV for consumers, thanks to a new partnership with Sumitomo Chemical, a Japanese group of companies for green issues.

At the moment it is only from Sony, a commercial OLED panels in the market, with the XEL-1 measuring only 11-inches. A 40-inch OLED panels from Panasonic really shake the market.

 

They have also said they intend to manufacture a 37-inch model (image), which should be the first business to take – but we wait until the 40-inch monster, apparently, only a few months later.

 

OLED TVs are known for the super-slim (the XEL-1 is only 3 mm thick), extra bright, and very energy efficient, so Sumitomo Chemical interest in the format.
