Western Digital has announced its latest and largest drive from their Caviar Green family. And at a whopping 2 TB, it will take a while for it.
The Western Digital Caviar Green hard drives use 500 GB disks. It is a standard 3.5 inch tall and has a 32 MB buffer. It comes in a USB, eSATA, Firewire, and internal configurations for a variety of needs.
Western Digital has many functions to lower power consumption, so that the “green” is in the name.
