Clickfree has introduced its newest flagship automatic backup portable hard drive, the C2, on Tuesday. It enables the automatic import music from iPods and iPhones, burning files backed up on CDs and DVDs, and extract e-mail attachments. All contained files are protected with 256-bit hardware encryption.
Like previous Clickfree automatic backup drives, the C2 will automatically start the backup of the contents of a PC they are attached, including photos, videos and e-mail attachments. See, we feel your pain. There are about a gazillion options when it comes to portable hard drives, but the iDrive Portable actually differ from the masses in a way that is particularly useful. Apart from the “thinnest and lightest portable USB drive in its class”, 0.3 pounds of the unit houses 320GB of space on a 5400RPM hard drive, and it plays Nice with Windows OS X machines.
