Logitech Harmony PS3 Remote Adapter

Logitech Harmony PS3 Remote Adapter

An IR to Bluetooth adapter for the PS3 lets you use Logitech Harmony  universal remote to control your PlayStation 3.

Not only can the adapter on and off the PS3 directly from your remote IT powered from a wall outlet instead of any of the PS3 USB ports only on all the functions which the PS3 can be assigned to the remote control buttons. The remote works by first syncing, just like any other standard-Bluetooth PS3 remote to your PlayStation 3 Then it takes in the IR-blasts from your remote control, and translates these commands to Bluetooth. All you have to do is re-add to the PlayStation 3 Logitech Harmony your profile, and it will automatically import the correct IR codes to your remote control.

In practice, it is essentially flawless. I was able to see a Blu-ray movie, DVD and DivX video only from the buttons on my Harmony. It is worth it if you do not like using two different remotes to get something. Especially when one of the remotes is a game controller.

Harmony 1100 remote review

Posted by admin on Feb 22, 2009 in News, TV

Harmony 1100 remote reviewLike a skeleton in the cupboard or a heart in the hallways, many home theater enthusiasts are cursed by a flood of remotes, each with different shapes, sizes, specifications and battery.

Cheap Multi-device programmable remote assistance, but the Logitech Harmony line has been something of a savior, elegantly hidden behind all your equipment simple activities like “Watch TV” or “Play a CD.”

The Harmony 1100 is the latest to join the series, and is in many respects the most elegant to see and hold. Sorry, but it is far from the intuitive to use, and so is not exactly our favorite.
