A question I keep getting asked, because my cover has ramped the Viliv S5 UMPC I’m with has to do with a future product Viliv. The Viliv X70 UMPC will come later this year, according to the information that I have, and at the same time, it is often risky to talk about unreleased products.Viliv has a very good job with the S5, no doubt. The Build quality is excellent for the price of the handheld PC, and it has already received a good reputation for the UMPC. I hear of many people who have acquired and with the S5. The attention to detail that has Viliv in the S5 thrilled all who have a on the basis of this correspondence. This fast-growing reputation for many, the upcoming X70 and I asked a lot if I would recommend that the X70 into the S5.
This question has no correct answer for several reasons. Firstly, the X70 is not yet available, so that it is impossible to recommend, as it is still somewhat an unknown. Secondly, it is a totally different animal. The X70 is a 7-inch screen, making it more of a slate-type computer, as opposed to the pure nature of the handheld S5 with 4.8-inch screen. They are completely different devices, as far as size goes, and this will make a difference too many for field use. Finally, a big reason the S5 has been well accepted by consumers because of the relatively low price for a handheld computer. The X70 is almost certainly at prices higher than the S5, because it is a larger device, and until the price is fixed, it is difficult to make a call in this regard.
The X70 looks to be thin, smaller version of the 7-inch Samsung Q1, that was a very popular series of devices. Kevin has another, and it must be his third or fourth. The X70 is expected to have the same hardware components (Atom processor and SSD hard drive), as the S5, so that the form factor is the essential difference. Some people prefer the larger 7-inch screen of the handheld and other types of S5. It depends on expected usage, as is normally the case with mobile gadgets.
I suspect that ultimately, the inclusion of the X70 will come largely price. The S5 has a good price for such a situation, mobile computers, and if the X70 can be near the same price I think it is well accepted, too. Let’s hope this baby can Viliv in as cheap as possible.
